Kevin Lewis BMS

Kevin founded KLC in 1997 and now has 35 years’ experience working in the timber manufacturing and processing industry for both large corporates and small private companies.

He has an in-depth knowledge of the requirements and nature of the wood processing industry in the domestic and international markets.

Career highlights include the development of export markets in the United States and Australia and a fundamental key to the success of this market development was establishing a reputation for consistency, quality and reliability. Kevin has been heavily involved in developing large remanufacturing facilities and establishing new docking, finger jointing, moulding, drying, and treating lines within these. Kevin’s experience also includes the primary processing of high value pruned logs for further high-end product remanufacturing and for the local structural lumber market.

Kevin has used his well-developed financial and computer skills to set up financial and management accounting systems for several companies. He excels at leadership and has developed highly skilled and motivated employees who can deliver high levels of quality and service.

It is Kevin's entrepreneurial drive, ambition and tenacity which drove KLC’s sustained growth to become a significant player in the NZ wood remanufacturing industry.
